This Tibetan woman from Kam province is wearing the typical headress of the region, made with turquoise and coral. She has a market stall near the Jokhang temple, Lhasa. I was only allowed to take her picture after making a purchase - she was a really good sales woman. Some of the items for sale, dorjes, bells etc looked to me as if it came from Kathmandu, but she persuaded me to make a purchase. I knew there was no escape! Tibetan women are strong and determined.
